Terms of Service

These terms describe your rights and obligations when using OnceKeeper. Registering or continuing to use means you accept them.

Acceptance

Using this service means you accept these terms. If you don't agree, please don't register or use the platform.

We may revise these terms; material changes are announced on-site for 30 days, and continued use after that means you accept the new version.

Account

The platform uses OnceAccount single sign-on. Each user may have only one OnceKeeper account.

Prohibited: fake accounts, account sharing, automation / bots, identity impersonation, buying or selling accounts.

You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials. Any action under your account is treated as your action.

Acceptable use

Encouraged: genuine recommendations, honest opinions, constructive comments.

Prohibited: spam, advertising, like / comment manipulation, harassment, hate speech, violence / sexual content, illegal activity, IP infringement, deliberately false information.

The spirit of OnceKeeper is genuine recommendation. Content that clearly violates this spirit (e.g. ads disguised as personal reviews) will be proactively removed.

Content ownership

You retain copyright on everything you publish (posts, comments, TOP_PICK answers).

You grant OnceKeeper a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to display, copy, distribute, and adapt your content, only as needed to operate the service (e.g. generating thumbnails, OG preview images, sitemap entries, notification digests).

When you delete content, this license terminates for that content. Copies inside backups are purged within 30 days under the retention policy.

Moderation & appeals

Admins may take action under the community guidelines: warn, hide post, remove post, remove comment, temporarily suspend (up to 30 days), permanently disable.

Affected users are notified by email with reasons and an appeal link. While suspended / banned, you may submit an appeal on-site. We aim to review within 14 days.

Appeal upheld → action automatically reversed. Appeal denied → no resubmission of the same case for 30 days.

TOP_PICK topic review

New "#1" topics enter a manual review queue, typically processed within 24–72 hours.

Approved → topic goes live, creator notified by email.

Rejected → reasons attached (commonly: too specific containing shop name / region, overlaps existing topic, not suitable as a topic). Creator may revise and resubmit.

Merge suggestion → when very similar to an existing topic, we suggest contributing to that topic instead, to avoid fragmentation.

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The platform makes no warranty as to the accuracy or completeness of user-published content — those are personal recommendations, not commercial guarantees.

Reviews of shops / places / products represent the poster's personal view, not the platform's position.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the platform is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Governing law & contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Disputes will be heard in the Taipei District Court of first instance.

If any provision is invalid under applicable law, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

Service termination: the platform reserves the right to terminate / suspend service at any time, with 30 days' prior notice (force majeure excepted).
